Madison had her first haircut on Sunday, I have trimmed her bang many times but when she saw dad and Jake get there haircut she wanted one too! So I just trimmed her hair all around and made it all the same length. She looks so pretty and still has lots of curls!

Well she finally asked! She wanted her toes painted. She keeps seeing me paint my toes and I always ask her if she wants me to paint hers and always refuses. But the other day said mommy paint my toes!!! So of course I was hesitant because I didn't think she would sit there and let them dry, but she did she sat patiently on our bathroom counter and let them dry. They are orange for halloween! She is just so big!

Jakes first bus ride

Last week ( I know I'm just barely posting it! ugh!) But he is now starting speech therapy at an elementary school and he was able to have the option to ride the bus. Which to me was very scary and I really didn't want him to but he was thrilled. So I let him. He had a great time and the bus is very cute and has seat belts on it and his bus driver is very nice so I guess it will all be alright!

Jake's first day of Preschool

Yesterday was Jake's first day of preschool. He was so excited, the week before he kept asking if swim lessons were over because I told him after swim lessons got over he would start preschool! We are so proud of him he is growing up so fast and is such a smart little boy. We hope he learns a lot by going to preschool and enjoys being there!

So I know it's been a long time since I have posted anything!! I'm so bad at that! Well we went to the coast a few weeks ago for my sister in law's birthday! Which was alot of fun. It was also 4th of July weekend. The coast isn't much for watching fireworks due to all the fog but we did go out to the beach on the night of the 3rd and watched an okay show. But it was a good weekend. We went out to the beach which was very cold and windy (kinda sucked) but then we also stopped at the sea lion caves on our way back home and that was kinda cool so here are a couple pics from our trip!!

Madison's Destruction

So last night Mike and I were out in the garage while he was putting his new back bar on his quad, well it was about 8:45 and I had a feeling to come in so I walk in to find Madison over at the TV scratching the bottom of it with my needle nose craft sissors!!!!! I screamed!!! So yeah it's bad but not super bad but of course it's very ugly and awful. This is after all our 2,000 dollar TV!!! So she did get a spanken and was put to bed! She usually makes lots of fuss at bed and last night not a pep out of her! She knew she was in trouble. So yes we have a warranty but it only covers the electrical part. Never did I think when we bought the TV when Madison was 7 months old that she would be destructive, because Jake has always be an angel! So I called the warrenty place and of course it's not covered to fix so I called a TV repair specalist and the gave me a price of $700-$1000 to fix it. So oh well we are just going to have to deal with the uglyness! I guess I have to have my eye on Madison all the time now she's going to be a handful!

Visit from Grandma Strebe

My mom came to visit the day after Easter, Monday the 13th. She was able to stay for the whole week until Friday. We had a great visit. She got to spend a lot of time with the kids and we also got to go to one of the few attractions Roseburg has. The Wildlife Safari. It was a lot of fun having her here and spending time with my mom.

Grandma and Grandpa McEwen came at the beginning of the month, we had such a great time with them and the weather was so nice while they were here too! We went and took the kids to the park and blew bubbles and ran around and played. They also brought them some Easter baskets and toys! Thank you for coming and for spoiling the kids! We love you!

Stupid Oregon gas law!!!

So today I was getting gas before I drove my mom to the airport and if anyone doesn't know it is illegal to pump your own gas in the state of Oregon. Sometimes nice but this stupid gas attendant today was busy chit chatting with someone and as I waited two other cars pulled up! Well if anyone knows me I was getting very annoyed and so I got out of my car and swiped my credit card waiting still and he goes over and helps the other two cars that came in after me. So he finally comes over as I'm standing there and tells me "you are not suppose to get out and pump your own gas!" Well then I proceed to tell him if he would stop chit chatting and do his job and come over to do my gas and not the two people that pulled in after me I wouldn't be out of my car!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY HECK so annoying anyways I looked up tonight why they have this ridiculous law and it's been around since 1951 and they don't plan on changing it they think it will help people from not hurting themselves (blowing something or themselves up!) LOL and theft and all that crap but I found someone who was ranting and raving about this law and he had a list of some other very fun and almost unbelievable laws so here they are:
* Alabama – it is illegal for a driver to be blindfolded while operating a vehicle.
* Alaska – it is considered an offense to push a live moose out of a moving airplane.
* Arizona – any misdemeanor committed while wearing a red mask is considered a felony.
* Arizona – when being attacked by a criminal or burglar, you may only protect yourself with the same weapon that the other person possesses.
* Augusta, Maine – to stroll down the street playing a violin is against the law.
* Baltimore, Maryland – it is illegal to take a lion to the movies.
* Baltimore, Maryland – it is a violation of city code to sell chicks or ducklings to a minor within one week of the Easter holiday.
* Barber, North Carolina – fights between cats and dogs are prohibited.
* Bexley, Ohio – the installation and usage of slot machines in outhouses is prohibited.
* Boise, Idaho – residents may not fish from a giraffe's back.
* Chicago, Illinois – it is forbidden to eat in a place that is on fire.
* Chico, California – detonating a nuclear device within the city limits results in a $500 fine.
* Everett, Washington – it is illegal to display a hypnotized or allegedly hypnotized person in a store window.
* Fargo, North Dakota – one may be jailed for wearing a hat while dancing, or even for wearing a hat to a function where dancing is taking place.

Today is Madison's 2nd birthday! I can't believe she is already 2! Time has flown by and she is just so big. She is such a sweet blessing in our lives and is always full of love and loves to give hugs and kisses. She does have a little mean streak though but we blame that on the terrible 2's! Ha ha. But we are so truly grateful for our little Madi! Happy Birthday baby!

Snow weekend

We had a great surprise and Mike was given Friday and Saturday off so we decided to drive up Friday night to see Aunt Kim and Uncle Aaron up in Eugene. We had a great time with the yummy mexican food dinner Aaron made for us then we pulled out our new Wii that we had just bought up there and played that for a few ours. Then Saturday morning we woke up and drove about an hour to go to see some snow and have some fun playing. On our way we stopped at a fish hatchery where they bred fish and there were thousands of them, I guess when they get big enough they release them into the rivers for fishing. Then we drove up the mountain and found a great spot with lots of snow. We built a snow man and found some pretty good hills to go sledding down. Aunt Kim was able to come with us and it was so much fun. We had a great weekend and are glad we could spend the weekend with Kim and Aaron and playing with our kids in the snow! We are finally settled down

Well I know i'm going on a month and a half without a post but we have been very, very busy with moving and getting settled. But I have finally finished unpacking and have lots and lots of boxes piled up by my front window. Which will soon make it down to the basement, crawl space area. But I am so not going down there so when Mike finally gets a day off it will happen! Hopefully tomorrow. But I have managed to finally take some pictures! The ones of the snow are what we saw about an hour away driving up here. One thing about Roseburg is it's beautiful! There are in the mountain area and there are a lot of trees! Which we are use to living in Jacksonville. But our house is up on a hill area too so the one thing that we didn't get in the house we found was a back yard and not much of a front yard so there is not much of a place for the kids to play. But that means we will be going to the park a lot! Which i'm sure they won't mind! But the pictures I have here are my living room and the other half of my living room, the kitchen with no kitchen table yet I have that on it's way and hopefully will be here on the 10th. Madison's room and Jake's room and our room which has an awsome walking closet and a pretty big bathroom. Then my laundry room which I love that I don't have to go out to the garage anymore to do it. And a big two car garage. We have a little deck that will be nice to sit out on and relax once it is not 30 or 40 degrees outside. But we have an awsome view of the mountains being up on a hill so I love that! But Mike has begun work and been working for about a week and yes it SUCKS already. I hate it and I feel like I never see him anymore. But I guess I'll learn to deal with it. But I have only gotten lost a few times but hopefully will find my way around soon!

Our Christmas!

Wow I know it has been forever and yes I needed Angie's yelling at me to BLOG!!! for me to get my butt in gear and finally post some pictures. I have been pretty busy lately with going home for a month and seeing Mike's family and then going to Utah and then to my parents. I had such a wonderful trip and want to thank everyone for taking us in and taking care of us. It was so good to see Mike's family and spend the week with them. We got to go to sea world and in San Diego Mike's parents spoiled me and the kids by taking us to downtown San Diego and loving the kids. (As much as they would let them! LOL) Then we got to drive up and see Mike's Grandad and that was great he is so wonderful and we just love him. Then my mom and dad flew me and the kids and my mom to Utah and I got to see almost all of my relatives and my wonderful friend Deidra and her family. Then after Utah I went home to Yuma for almost two weeks with my family. I had such a good trip and loved spending every minute with my family and Angie and Jeff and the kids came from Phoenix for Thanksgiving and Mike got to come from San Diego for Thanksgiving also. I am so happy I got to see Ang and her family I miss her and them so much Angie is one of my best friends and it's so hard being away from her so it was great to spend the whole weekend with her and the kids. Then I also got to see all my best buds! Alison, Shelly, Emily, Isabel, Angela, and Edna. I got to see Ericka and Carrie for a breif hello I wish I could have seen more of them. But it was a great trip.
But as for Christmas we had such a great day with the morning starting out in a blur of toys as it always is on Christmas morning. The kids as you can see got spoiled to death with toys and more toys! The had fun opening all there presents and Madison kept going and going!! She even wanted to open mine! Jake on the other hand started asking me if I would open his! But thank you Grandma and Grandpa's for all the gifts and Ang for Madison's and Christina for Mike's and Sarah for Jake's and Josh for mine. We draw name's on my mom's side so thanks again. We loved them all. But I hope everyone enjoyed there Christmas and took a few minutes to remember the true meaning of Christmas and how blessed we are for our Savior Jesus Christ. I hope everyone has a wonderful new year and accomplished all they have set out for the new year!

Jake's Party

We celebrated Jake's birthday on Saturday we had lots of friends come and have lots of fun. We had pizza from Little ceasars and then we played somes games like musical chairs, pin the flag on the pirate ship, and find the coins in the yucky gunk! Then we had a pirate ship pinata. Then Jake opened all his many presents and got some great gifts! We want to thank everyone for all the gifts and for coming to Jakes party! Then we sang happy birthday and had some yummy pirate cake! Jakes real birtday is October 31st (halloween) but Mike is leaving on Monday so we had his party Saturday. We will go trick or treating on his birthday then some of my friends and there kids are going to come over for some cupcakes! I can't believe my little boy is almost 4 he is growing up so fast and getting so big and so smart! We are so proud of him and they cute little man he is becoming! We love you Jake! Happy Birthday!

Grandma and Grandpa Strebe's visit

This past week my parents flew into see us. We had such a great visit and had a lot of fun with them. Monday we got to show them all around town and the bases and Mike got to show my dad all the things around the bases and everything he works on and then Tuesday we went out to the beach and then Wednesday we drove to Greensboro, NC so my dad could see a business that he does business with. Then we finished the day with driving to Mt Airy, NC the town were Mayberry (from the Andy Griffith show) is based on. They had some fun things to see and it was fun to see my mom so excited cause she loves the Andy Griffith show! Then we drove past Raleigh and went to Smithfield, NC to the outlet mall for a bit. Then we drove home. They left on Friday the trip went so fast but we are so glad they came and enjoyed our time with them. When they left Jake cried so much. He was so sad the rest of the day. We love them and can't wait to see them in a few weeks!

Jake's New Bed

We found Jake a captain's bed and got it all put together last night. We went today and bought him a new mattress and he picked out the pirates of the carabien sheets and comforter. He loves it. I figured since he will be turning 4 at the month it was time for a big bed. I can't believe how big he is getting and it's just going so fast! We are so proud of you Jake!!

Well we have accomplished one of the hardest tasks of parenting getting rid of the pacifier! Yeah for us! It only took us 3 days she does do a little crying before she settles down but it went a lot smoother than we had hoped for! She is even sleeping through the night! I guess our next goal is potty training Madison. Which I was very lucky and had my friends potty train Jake so I will have to be patient trying to work on her. Wish us luck!

Dad spent some time outside the other day with the kids filling up numerous water balloons! Jake loves water balloons and Madison had fun squeezing them and popping them on herself! LOL. But it being so hot it only lasted for about 20 minutes but it was a nice way for them to cool off a little and have some fun with daddy! Mike is such a great dad and loves Jake and Madison so much and I am so grateful for how much he loves his kids and Me. I love you pumpkin!

Jake is now into using the computer. I thought it would be fun to have him start playing some games on the computer. So I logged onto the Noggin and Nick Jr. website and he started playing games. He loved Dora and Go Diego Go and Max and Ruby of course! So now for the past 3 days he asks all day Mom can I play the computer? So I let him play at least twice a day but that is never enough! But he's learning some good things and working on his ABC's and numbers so that's always good! But how cute is he with Daddy's headphones on!!

New Toys!

Well it was one of those days, out at Walmart and who can resist those cute little faces? Not there daddy! Yes Mike loves to spoil the kids and buy them a toy on payday week so Jake got a transformer and Madison got her first barbie. Jake is now into the transformer phase, well he's into the everything phase but right now he loves transformers! And we thought it would be cute to buy Madison her first barbie to see how she would like it and she just loves her. She carries it around everywhere and brushes her hair. It's so cute! Thanks daddy for the new toys!

My Sister!

Yes so I forgot to say in my Long blog below that I get to go visit my wonderful, best sister in the whole world! Yes when I go home I get to go stay with Angie and Jeff too. And I am so excited. So after Thanksgiving day weekend is over we will go home with them until my mom comes and picks us up or Angie calls my mom begging her to come pick us up! LOL which ever comes first. But I am so excited to see her and Jeff and my little Nicholas and Emma! I miss them so much. Angie is the best sister and one of my best friends in the world. I love you Ang!

We're Going home!!

Well we have found out the unfortunate news, Mike is on the out bound roster for October 27th. So that I'm sure means we are going recruiting. So we are very, very, very bummed! So after my day of crying and hating life I tried to get over it and suck it up because we knew it was coming sooner than later! So I guess we will start planning on leaving. Our first decision is what to do with our house. First we need to get our buts in gear and finish all our home improvement projects. Next are we going to sell it or rent it out. We do want to sell it because the market has gone way up and we would make a good amount off it. But how fast can we sell it? But I'm afraid to let someone rent it and ruin all our work of fixing it up. So that is our hard decision!
But on the up side I'm excited to tell all my friends back home we are coming home. Well at least me and the kids are! I checked out Mike's frequent flier miles and he almost had enough for 2 free tickets and so I checked on mine and I had enough to transfer mine to his and only had to pay $111!!!! Yeah so I got to tickets home after taxes for only $131 dollar how exciting is that! So we are going home for a whole month. We are spending a weekend at my aunt and uncle who live in San Diego and then going to Mike's parents house for a week and then my mom is coming to pick me up back in San Diego and I'm going to my mom's house for 3 weeks which we are going to Utah for a week of that, so I will get to see all my grandparents and relatives and friends! And I will also be home for Thanksgiving! I am so happy about that. And the other plus side is since Mike is going to school in San Diego he will go to school during the week and have the weekends off so we will get to see him for a few weekends and hopefully they will let them off for Thanksgiving and he will come up to my parents house to spend the holiday with us. If they don't give him Thanksgiving off he will still come up for the weekend. So that is the plus side but when he does finish school after 7 weeks they will tell Mike where he is going and he and hopefully us will have 30 days to pack our house and move to wherever they send us anywhere in the US!! Which sucks. So we are going to pray that it's somewhere were he will do well and get alot of recuits and be able to come home at a decent hour to still spend time with the kids and I. I'm sure the 3 years of this is going to be long and hard but we will make it and hopefully it will make us stronger as a family!

We bough Jake a new camera the other day since has has show such an interest in our camera. He is always wanting to take pictures when we are taking pictures of everything. So we thought he would like his own. It is one of those fisher price ones. Where it's like a real digital camera. He takes pictures of everything from us to Panda (our dog) to the carpet to the hose out side. Luckily I have shown him the erase button! It's a great little toy though !

This is Madison's new kitchen set that we bought her. Both the kids love to go in and play with it. And it's so cute to go in and catch them cooking something. And hearing Jake tell Madison "try it you'll like it" which is from Yo Gaba Gaba for all you that watch noggin!

Here is a few of our 4th of July pictures. We had a nice time we went to our friends house and had a barbecue and then lite off some fireworks. Jake was swimming with his friend Christopher and Madison was determined to get in with them so we finally put Jake's floaties on her and she put her in there. She could touch the bottom and was running all over in there. Even when she fell and went under the water she was just laughing her head off. Jake had fun with Mike lighting off some of the fireworks. Madison was not a big fan of the fireworks they scared her! But we had fun anyways! Hope everyone else had a great night!

Missing Grandma

Mike's mom came down last week and we had such a great visit! The kids warmed right up to her which is good cause they haven't seen here in 7 months. Jake pretty much knows who she is now since he is older but Madison hasn't seen her since she could crawl. But she did great. They both had a lot of fun spending time with her. Unfortunately she had a terrible experience at the airport getting here. Almost here in Charlotte the weather was very bad and her flight got canceled. So she had to get a hotel and fly in the next day. But she got here safe! The first day she got to spend time playing with the kids and then Friday we went to the beach and enjoyed the nice weather and cool water. Then on Saturday we drove down to Wilmington and went to a water park which was a lot of fun. they have a nice area were the kids can play. Then Sunday which was father's day we hung out and took Mike out to dinner were he wanted to go. Then she had to leave on Monday so we went to lunch and left on an afternoon flight. Well she left and flew from here to Charlotte to Denver and then again missed her connecting flight!!! Which they said was due to the weather! So yet again she had to get another hotel and fly out the next day. What and awful flight experience! But got home safe! But we are so grateful she was able to come out and see us and spend time with the kids. She spoiled us a lot and took us out to eat a lot and bought the kids lots of gifts, which they loved! But even as we left the airport Jake said I want to go to Grandma's house now. It's so hard when we live so far away! But I just want her to know we miss her very much and I know I didn't mention it in my mother's day blog but I want everyone to know what a great Mom she is and a great Grandma! She does so much for us and cares so much about us and the kids! We love you!!!

I know a day has passed but I just want to say happy Father's day to my wonderful husband. He is an amazing Dad. He loves his kids with all his heart. I love to see their faces when he comes home from work they go running to the door and Jake is yelling daddy's home! He always does all he can to make his kids happy. He does so much for our family and I am so proud of him. And we all love him so very much!!
I also want to wish my own dad a happy Father's day. He is a wonderful dad and I love him very much. Especially when I get those random calls from him every once in a while. Thanks for all you have done for me dad!! I also want to wish Mike's dad a happy father's day! We love you dad's!

Well Alison has tagged me to give my 7 random facts about myself so here they are:

1) When i was 7 I fell down and split my head open in between my eyes and had to get 13 stitches. Which just so happened to be on my birthday. Then a year latter i fell in a camp fire lucky it was just put out but i was rushed from our camp site to the hospital and lucky just got my lower back and just missed a sever 3rd degree burn and having surgery!

2) Unfortunately my life went the wrong way when i was 18 and i have 3 tattoos one on my back of a bumble bee, one around my belly button and the biggest one on my ankle of tinker bell. One day i will have a lot of money for laser surgery and get them removed!!

3) I get annoyed very very VERY easily!

4) I hate to run every morning but, I love to run every morning I do at least 2 miles 5 days a week unless we have some crazy early morning thing to do.

5) After high school I got the only scholar ship to beauty school from Yuma High. I finished and became a Barber at Daniel's Barber shop. I worked there for 5 years till I had Jake and we moved to North Carolina.

6) I am the oldest out of NINE kids. And the funny thing is there is a 23 year gap between me and Joey!!

7) I love to crochet and make blankets I learned from my mom when I was about 9 years old and have of course gotten a lot better but I do it almost every night to unwind.

Beach day!

Today we had planed on going to the pool on base but when I got there they were full to maximum capacity! Well great how do I explain that to my 3 year old who is dying to go to the pool!! AAGGHH!! Anyways so me and my friend Paulina decided to try to see if another pool was open which it wasn't so I ran home grabbed the beach toys and blankets and we headed out to the beach! Which turned out to be a lot of fun. We were only there an hour but that's what's great about only being 25 minutes away! So we let the kids loose and Madison just took off! She was running around the beach like a crazy lady. Which was great because the last couple of times she has been scared to even touch the water. Jake just loves to get in those waves and jump them. He had a lot of fun with his friend Morgan today as you can see him chasing her around. It's already started him chasing girls!

Our New Addition

Well here is our new little kitten. We finallybroke down and got the kids one. Yes he is so cute, his name is Boots. Jake picked out the name. The funny thing is before Mike and I had the kids, when we lived in Yuma, we had a cat named Boots. Who is now living with Mike's parents. But we gave Jake a couple choices of names and his first choice was Socks,well the next day he let me know it's not socks anymore it's Boots. Which is funny so now I guess he's Boots the 2nd.
But when deciding you want a kitten you just see them and they are so cute and lovable! Till you get them home! Somewhere totally different and they don't know where they are, well he's only 8 weeks so he's still a baby! Yes a baby that's exactly how he acts. If he can't see anyone around he cries. If we put him up before we go out he cries. If we put him in his room for the night he cries. And if he's just around he cries! AAAGGGHHH I'm about to loose my mind and we're only on day 3!!! But he is cute and hopefully he will grow out of it! But we're happy to have him, that is Mike, Me, Jake and Madison are. Now Panda (our dog) is not sure what to think yet! I think we'll introduce them next week!!

Our Walt Disney World Vacation!!!

Here is a few pictures of our fun filled week we spent up in Florida. It was so great to be able to take the kids up there and enjoy our time in Disney World. It was alot of fun. The first day we spent driving. It was a long 10 hour trip but it wasn't to bad, we left at 5 in the morning so the kids were pretty quite. And we got to the hotel right at check in time. Then we took a nice dip in the pool. Our next day we went to the Magic Kingdom which was great the lines were so much shorter than at Disneyland, the longest line we had was about 20 min. It was great! The next day we went to the Wild animal Kingdom which was fun we went on a animal safari ride and saw a lot of animals. They had a dinosaur land which Jake really liked. Only one ride though that the kids could ride the others were to big for Jake to ride he was sad he wasn't tall enough. Then the next day we took a little break and went to Coco beach which it was a beautiful day we spent a couple hours out there and came back and went swimming. Our last day (Friday) we went back to Disney World and went to the MGM studios. It wasn't something I would visit again, it wasn't to fun I think for the kids. They did have a Mickey Mouse club house show and a little Mermaid show that the kids liked. We took a back stage tour also that showed alot of how they make their movies and stuff disney has bought. We also saw a cool Indian Jones show Jake liked. Saturday we had a long drive home and the kids were quite ready to be home! But we want to thank Miguel and Faye they got us in for free to Disney World all three days!!! They are sooooo wonderful!!

Happy Mother's day to all you mom's out there!
I am so grateful for this wonderful day to take the
time to appreciate our mom's. My mom is the best
mom in the world. And I'm so grateful for her and
all that she has done for me and that she continues
to do for me! For all she has taught me and still teaches
me.
I'm so lucky to be the mom of these two wonderful
and beautiful children right here! They continue to
make me proud and happy each day, and yes there
are those many days that they make me want to pull my hair out,
but at the end of the day I just thank God that he has
blessed me and given me the opportunity to be a mom.
My most favorite thing about being a mom is the sweet
little hugs and kisses and knowing they need me and love me!
I hope everyone enjoys Mother's day!!!

Yes, we broke down and bought Jake
a new bike. He has been wanting one
for a couple weeks now ever since we
went to Walmart and we let him test drive

Our New River Airshow

Today was our Airshow here in Jacksonville.
It was pretty fun, the kids like the airplanes,
and helicopters although some of them were
a little to loud for Madison. After watching the
show we walked around and saw lots of the
airplanes and helicopters on display. But after
4 hours and Mike and I sunburned we went
home. Here are a couple pictures that turned

Happy Easter! Well today was a beautiful Easter
morning here at home. The kids woke up and
enjoyed there Easter baskets and goodies
and then we went next door to our friends and
neighbors house for a fun Easter egg hunt.
The kids enjoyed running around finding lots
of eggs. Then we drove up to our friends house
up in New Bern and had a nice Easter dinner
with them. We hope everyone enjoyed there
Easter.

Today is Madison's 1st birthday! We can't
believe she is already 1. The time flew and she
is getting so big! She had a great day with a fun
party. We invited lots of friends and here are a

The Lynnwood zoo

Today we were able to take the kids to a little
zoo that Jacksonville has to offer, it is small
but it was pretty cute.
Jake had fun here is a few pictures we took...

Here is Jake feeding the goats. This one was
quite the piggy and ate most of the food we had!

Here is the owners little pup he called it i'm not
sure what it really was but it was cute and Jake
got to feed him some carrots.

This is Jake feeding one of the birds his name
is snowball before the owner brought it out
he told Jake he was going to go get snowball,
and Jake said "I like snowballs i like to throw them!"
and we said no Jake this is not that kind of snowball
it's a bird name snow ball. And he just laughed and said
oh! he he.

And here is Franklin the Turtle what a cute
little guy he was! I don't think Madison was
to sure about the whole thing!

Then here is a picture with all of us with Franklin
the turtle Jake liked him especially cause he watches
Franklin the tv show! We had a great day and just
fun seeing the kids like all the animals we saw! Anything
to make them happy!!

Two of a kind

So here are my to silly kids... well we have this
door that goes out to the garage from
the living room, and the door was
there before we moved in and it has a cat door on
it. But it falls apart so easily. Well the kids have
found it fun that whenever me or Mike go out to
the garage they take the swinging cat door off and
stick there heads out to watch us. Especially Madison
she is such a nosey little girl and has to know everything
that is going on! But today i captured quite the funny
picture of them both trying to look out at the same time.
It was just to funny! I love them!

Madison's new hobby

Madison has found a new hobby for herself
which as you can see is pulling out her diapers!
She does it morning noon and night. And as I go
to pick them all up and put them back in her
diaper stacker she patiently waits and watches
me and when I'm done, well she makes her way
straight back to them. And so I have gotten very
sick of re-picking them back up so lately her floor
has been decorated with diapers. But hey it makes
it easy when i got to change her and they're right there
in front of me!

Play Date

Jake had a play date the other day with his
good bud Morgan. Well I was actually babysitting
but the kids love to play together more than any-
thing. Jake has so much fun with his friend Morgan.
They ate lunch together and then had fun running
around with there cool sunglasses on. And pretending
they were going to school. It was so cute to see them
running around having so much fun together they
are just too cute!!!

Arggg Pirate

Jake got his new pirate ship yesterday,
and we want to thank Grandma McEwen!
She sent him some money so he could buy it!
Jake loves it he has played with it non stop
for the past two days now. Jake loves to play
pirate he has his little dress up costume on most
of the time. The best thing today was, he was playing
with his two little pirate men and i heard him say
argg pirate i make you walk the plank! I just laughed
so hard I love to hear how creative he is and was his
little imagination comes up with!!

Today is my wonder husband's birthday!!
We celebrated it on Saturday with some of our
friends so here are a couple of the pictures.
His cake first of all, don't mind the blues clues
candle with my kitchen torn apart from remodling
I can't find my birthday candle numbers!! =)

Madison sure enjoyed daddy's cake! Only a couple
more months and she'll enjoyed her own!!

One of those moments

Well I finally had one of those moments the
other day, the ones that makes your heart
melt... Jake was holding Madison's hand, as he
let me know he was holding it, and he said i love
Madison. It was just so sweet and it made my
eyes all teary. I'll always remember that and try
to keep that in mind next time Jake is screaming
at Madison not to touch his toys!!

GROWING UP SO FAST

Jake has become our little tree climber. He loves to
run outside everyday and run either straight to
climb the tree or jump on the trampoline. I can't
believe he has gotten so big as to start climbing trees.
Now i just have to worry about him climbing to high and
breaking something!! AAAHHHH

Jake also loves dressing up like a pirate,
but he's just not any pirate, he is captain hook!!
Then gets his sword and another sword for me
and wants to fight. Then I become peter pan!
It's such fun!! I love how creative he is in playing!

And here is Madison in her little snow outfit. She
looks happy and cute but the next couple pictures
I did get she was screaming her head off! But it
definitely has not been cold enough to wear this
outside but i had to have her wear it before she
grew out of it. It's to cute especially with her in it!!

Early Christmas

Well we celebrated Christmas a little early
this year we are going home for Christmas
and since we didn't want to haul all of our presents
with us we decided to make a day for Christmas
and since the kids are so little they really didn't know,
December 16th was pretend Christmas.
Jake was so excited to open presents and when his
were done he wanted to open some of ours too!
Madison really had no clue which is what I expected.
We just kept hading her toy after toy and she of course
just put it in her mouth. It was a fun time watching
them have fun though! Here's a couple pictures of the
gifts they recieved.......

Marine Corp Ball

This past weekend we went to the Marine Corp Ball it was
pretty fun. Especially since you get to get all dressed up and
do your hair and stuff, even if it is just for one night and it last
for about a total of 3-4 hours. But they had a nice dinner and
I actually got Mike to dance with me! Which is my favorite
part of the night, the dancing! Last year we were quick to leave
I was pregnant and it wasn't to much fun. But here is one picture
our friends took it didn't turn out wonderful but it's something!

Trick or Treat give me something good to eat!!

Another Halloween has come and gone!
Jake was Thomas the train and
of course looks so cute in his costume!
He had such a blast trick or treating
we went up to our friends, Cassandra
and Ernie's house and Jake went trick or
treating with their kids Nathan and
Leah and they help show him what to do
and and soon as he learned all he has to do
was say trick or treat and people gave him
candy he was in heaven!! But instead of people
giving him candy he thought he would help
them and take out the candy from there
bowls and put it in his pail! It was so funny!
But it was also his birthday and so we had
some cupcakes and he opened a couple more
presents! It was a great night!

And Madison was a very beautiful
Tinkerbell I don't think she really
knew what was going on she mostly
just hung out for the ride in her stroller
most of the night! But it was her
first halloween so maybe next year will
be funner for her when she can get some
goodies with her brother!

Jake's Birthday Party

Today we celebrated Jake's 3rd birthday, even
though his birthday is not until Halloween

All his friends arrived this afternoon we had pizza
played some games, opened presents, had cake,

Our day out with Thomas

Well this Saturday we spent the day out with Thomas. It was a lot of fun! Jake just loved to watch Thomas every time he went by he kept asking when we were going to ride thomas. Finally our train ride came and he just loved it. The whole day was fun with real trains to look at as well as big train tables to play with pictures to color and we made some pictures with different Thomas the train stamps. We also watched a bob the builder live performance which was good but Jake was ready to go play with the trains before it was even over! They also had chalk to draw all over the ground and bubbles and thomas tattoos. And of course lots and lots of Thomas stuff to buy and of course Jake got overly spoiled with stuff. But the day was memorable and that is all that matters. We are so happy we got to take Jake and that he had so much fun!

A Father's Love

I just wanted everyone to know what a wonderful
dad Mike is! Jake loves when his daddy spends time
with him and colors or plays trains or playing out side.
And Madison's cute happy face just to see daddy after
him being gone all day at work and when he comes and
gives her kisses and hugs, she just glows!
I am so proud of what a wonderful father and husband
Mike is and how hard he works for our family and all he
does to make us so happy!

Growing up

Madison has become our little active one! She is on her way to crawling she is now getting up on all fours and rocking back and fourth. We are so proud of how much she learns each day and before we know it she'll be all over the house!!

I just can't believe how big my kids are getting Jake is growing up to be such a little boy. He brightens my day every morning and throughout the day with all the things he loves to do and this summer there has been a big demand of popcycles!

Obsessed with my kids

Okay so to day i was thinking.... I sure take alot of pictures of the kids so this afternoon we decided to play dress up and so i put the kids in cute church clothes and made them pose! I tried to make them pose that is. But no matter what they always look so cute.

And i always love trying to get them to play together which at this age is a little tough but taking pictures seems to becoming a lot easier because as soon as i start taking pictures of Madison Jake wants to join in so lately the togetherness has been great!

Then we got to spend some time outside today even though it's so incredibly hot we defiantly need some hats
so how cute are these hats we have going on!!
